Hudson Valley Winter Wineries Day Trip: 5 Wineries, Awesome Views, Great People!

Enjoy a fun and relaxing day out of the city! The Hudson Valley is America’s oldest wine making and grape-growing region. Less than an hour and a half from New York City, a visit to to the Hudson Valley Wineries and wine trails offers hospitable winery tasting rooms, where you can often meet the owners and taste award-winning wines made from classic European varieties, regional hybrids and even delicious fruit wines. Join us for this fun day where you will enjoy a spectacular winter day out of the city, taste great wines and meet a fun group of new friends from TheMenEvent and other groups.
-You will start your day with the beautiful train ride on Metro North from Grand Central alongside the Hudson. Along the way you will be treated to spectacular views of the Hudson Valley. You may also drive or meet the group there if you live north of the city. Please contact info@newyorksocialnetwork.com to make arrangements.
-Your guide will meet you in Poughkeepsie then bring you to several local wineries including one that the group will sit and eat lunch at.
-We will also have a chance to stop at a local farm stand for those who would like to bring home some fresh fruits and veggies.
$40 includes: Transportation from train to all wineries and attractions. (Wineries will likely include many of the following: Robibero, Nostrano, Benmarl, Stoutridge and White Cliff ) Since everyone will not be drinking, winery fee's are not included. Some wineries are free and some charge $6-$8 for a flight of samples (5-6 depending on the winery, but always a great deal).
What to bring:
-Bag lunch-Dress for the weather. Casual and comfortable.-a large backpack or bag if you wish to bring home bottles of wine. Can you come alone? Yes many of those attending will be on their own. Lunch, train fare, winery fee's (budget $12- $18 if you plan to drink at more than 3 wineries) tips for the servers (optional)
When we are finished, your guide will bring you to the Poughkeepsie train station for the relaxing ride home.
Transportation to the Tour: Take the 9:43 Metro North Train to Pougkeepsie, NY from Grand Central. Your guide will meet you in Pougkeepsie (Note: The cost of this tour does not include the train ticket to and from Pougkeepsie, NY)
