About this Event

Gay Desert Guide and TheMenEvent.com are hosting a series of fun virtual events. Speed dating has never been more fun! We will make introductions, and you go on several short one-on-one dates (each lasting 5-6 minutes) then mingle with everyone with a fun game and have real conversation about dating. This event is exclusively for Gay Men of all ages (see our other speed dating events for other ages and themes)

Before the event: You will receive an email from our team with all the instructions on how to join speed dating via zoom. At the appointed time, you turn up at the online event, where you are immediately greeted by one of our helpful hosts. The host will then run the event the same as it would be run in a venue. You will have a number of one-to-one video dates. You will then be moved from table to table until you get an opportunity to a lot of great guys.

And after the event? Before the event ends, you will submit your list of people you want to see again. Within a few hours you will receive an email with the contact information for your mutual matches. Then, you continue the conversation.

The Venue: It's completely online. Just make sure you have a good internet connection and that you download ZOOM to your computer or mobile device (it’s not necessary but it will be helpful if you do so.

SO... get out of your jammies and into a cute first date shirt, pour a beverage of your choice and get ready to meet other singles without leaving your home.
