Our signature monthly networking party is back with a new name, new spaces (month we head to a venue you probably have never visited. We have the entire 2nd floor, including a lovely outdoor terrace), and celebs!

Celebrity Alert: Meet Florian Klein (you might know him as his alter ego, Adult film headliner Hans Berlin). Florian is developing "Shooting Star: The Revealing New Musical," about the gay "art" film industry (I can't use the "p" word unless we want to go right to spam - but you know what I mean - wink wink). Come ask him all about the show. If his blue eyes don't make you want to buy a ticket, his accent will do the trick. :)
Celebrity Alert: Meet composer, lyricist and playwright Erik Ransom. Erik rose to international fame with Grindr The Opera (which will debuting Off Broadway next season). Next up for Erik is More Than All The World (his musical about Edward II, the Gay King whose love for another man brought England to Civil War) debuting November 3rd at Theater for a New City.
Celebrity Alert: Meet celebrated playwright, performer and GLAAD Media Award nominee J.D. Cerna (Not As Cute As Picture). His new show, Problem Cat: A Love Story, follows a man who is delivered from big challenges by a huge overweight cat. New problems arise when neighbors raise hell - and lawyers - and eventually Cerna and his fat cat end up on the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather. This hysterical and touching odyssey comes to the Metropolitan Room on 9/29.
