The Dance on the Pier has been a mainstay of the LGBT community for the past 26 years. In 2012, the Dance enters a new chapter of its storied life as it relocates to Pier 57. This year brings knockout DJs The Perry Twins and Boris . Both will be bringing their unique, world-renowned sounds to the traditional Pride Week closing event. CELEB ALERT: Meet Stephan Davis (author/composer/lyricist) and cast members Adam Ryan Tackett, Jose Candelaria and Kimberly Michelle Thomas from “A DANCE for RYLIE,” – a new Gay musical that tackles Partners Rights and marriage equality. Inspired by a true case of discrimination against a gay couple at a hospital, “A DANCE for RYLIE” explores issues of intimacy, illness and equality. “A DANCE for RYLIE” plays June 1st-19th at the Bleecker Street Theater, 45 Bleecker Street.
