Thurs 12/14: Big Gay Coat Drive and Holiday Party
6PM-9PM @ Boxers NYC, 37 W 20 St (bet 5/6)
No cover, Happy Hour Drink Specials, Hundreds of Handsome Attendees plus our 11th Annual Coat Drive benefiting NY Cares.
This signature event is attended annually by hundreds of great guys, and is the one holiday event NYC Gays dare not miss. Now in our 11th year, we are collecting gently used coats for New York Cares, which distributes gently used winter coats to the homeless and other NYers in need. We know you still have that big puffy stay-puff marshmallow man coat from 2002 and the Toggle coat from 1995 that you will never wear again. So donate them (and every other gently used warm coat) to a good cause. For every coat you donate you will get a free gift from our GRAB BAG of PRIZES! Prizes include fun swag, music, books, dvds, superhero underwear and theater tickets (tba)
* Plus , first 20 coat donors get free tickets to the hit comedy So Long Boulder City!
Straight from the world of almost-Best Picture winner “La La Land” comes So Long Boulder City, Jimmy Fowlie and Jordan Black’s take on Emma Stone’s character’s ill-fated, never-before-seen, one-woman show. What was it about this poorly produced, shoddily designed and sparsely attended production that was supposed to launch this struggling actress into super stardom? So Long Boulder City is a life-affirming tale of determination, ambition, crushed hopes and Hollywood triumph.
