Sun 12/27 - Gay Scavenger Hunt: Holiday Lights, Sights & Midtown History

Meet at St Pats Bar and Grills, 22 West 46th St (bet 5th / 6th)
You will not look at the famous holiday decorations in the same way! Join us for this fun afternoon of exploring, socializing, and competition as you set out to visit and find clues that are a part of the famous holiday decorations from Herald Square to Rock Center. Along the way you will also learn some interesting historical facts about the city that you live in. The group will meet at a midtown pub, head out for the hunt then return to the same pub where we will be hosting another brunch event that you can become a part of! It's two events for the price of one! Here is how it works:
-Arrive at Playwright's Irish Tavern at 12:30pm for check-in, coffee, tea, hot chocolate or adult beverage. If you don't have a team we will set you up with other fun people. 98% of those attending will be coming on their own.
-After you are set up on a team we will send you out for 90 minutes to find as many of the clues as you can.
-Teams return to Playwright's for food and drinks as we tally up the scores and announce the winners. You will be joining our brunch party (but there is no obligation to eat).
What will we be looking for? You will be looking for clues that are part of the famous holiday decorations that are between Herald Square and Rockefeller Center (for instance: how many nutcrackers are in Rock Center, what color are the ball on the Bryant Park Tree, How many elves in the Macy's Windows, etc) You will also have to look for other historical clues that are part of the history of NYC!
Can I come alone? Yes 98% of those attending will likely come on their own. If you don't have a team we will set you up with other fun people.
Dress code: Bundle up, we go snow or shine! Tickets are non refundable unless hunt is canceled due to dangerous weather conditions.
